It dosn't have to be perfect or detailed. It's just the base to go farther. For me painting and drawing is a proces of constant error fixing. Watch what did you fucked up and fix this, and then watch what did you fucked up and fix this again and then... you know what
but... better sketch = easier to finish your work.
